Co-Pilot in Free Flight

Postby Virtual_Pilot » Sun Sep 02, 2007 6:07 pm

Hey everyone,

I'm not sure if this is a tool that has came out yet, but is there any tool that can connect two computers, like for example, My computer in Missouri and my Friend's computer in California, so that we can be like co-pilots, so I can take the left seat and do the flying and he can move his view over to the right seat and do the ATC stuff. Then for example if I flipped the gear lever, then my friend would see it move.

Thanks,

Thats an FSX multiplayer option, I don't think it will be implemented into a later version of FS

There is software out there that does this for FS9, but I believe it's payware, a pain to install and get working dependably and slows down the computer.

The shared plane feature in FSX is amazing. One person starts the session and the other joins it, and takes the option to join the aircraft. Since most FXS planes have a right seat option (right-click pull-down for cockpit selection), you can even sit behind the right yoke, partial panel anad all..lol

Then, you can pass the controls back and forth so that the person who joined, can control the plane, too...   :)

Actually, there is add-on payware that will allow you to share an aircraft in FS2004.  You can find out more here:
