Obtaining current AIRAC cycles?

Postby cavity » Sun Aug 26, 2007 3:07 pm

Is there any way to update current AIRAC cycles for free?  I just purchased an add-on and it calls for the latest cycle but I cant find them other than at Navdata.  Seems silly to pay for something that is updated every 28 days.  Todd

Hmmm...I knew a website that still offered the latest cycles for free...It's gonna take some research...I'll see if I can find it... ;)

EDIT: Most websites/forums seem to state that the 0608 cycle seems to be the most effective (FREE) choice...If however, you want free SIDS/STARS go here...http://planepath.com/

The best, and I think only way to get up-to date AIRAC cycles is through NavData. It takes alot of data transfer to make each cycle compatible with each addon.

After a while *I think* they are uploaded to AVSIM. I may be wrong but I recall seeing 0608 or 07 in the most downloaded files.

Have a look around  ;)
