Auto installers

I know this sound srude but can someone tell me where I can find aircrfat wiht auto installers as im useless wiht a normal installer sorry. I have found one www.flywestwind.com but they can only go sof ar they have some pretty good aircrfta but ive got them all. So if someone can tell me freeware autoinstaller aircrfta it woud be much appreciated. Iam despraetly looking for an A310 specificly. It must hvae a custom cockpit.

Learn how to manually install aircraft into the flightsim. Yes, it may take a little time, but once you're familiar with the FS directory, and the file structure, you can install, edit, and remove any aircraft addon.

All the Wise Men of Sim V will tell you NEVER to use auto-installers if at all possible..!!

ALWAYS download to a spare Folder (or Desktop) and MANUALLY place the files into the correct places within the Flight Sim Main Folder..!!

....or else you ask for problems......!

The ONLY trusted auto-installers are ones included by a few trusted designers as part of their programs, and they are few and far between.

I can only echo the wise words of Esselbach and Fozzy.  Once you learn to manually install add-on aircraft you will learn to shy away from auto-installers as I have (POSky aircraft being probably the only significant exception).

Before adding any aircraft (manual or otherwise) backup your default files.  This will undoubtedly save you much grief later.

And, if you really are having challenges manually installing aircraft, and if the tutorials aren't making it clear for you, message me.  I'm still a newb myself, but I have managed to figure this stuff out.  Perhaps I can help guide you through it step-by-step via voice over Skype or TS or somesuch.

I know how to install the aircrfta manually I just dont like it. Where I have real trouble is when it comes to installing gauges that you insatll yourself e.g. Glenn Copelands stuff because it is editing the software itself. I easily add them in took a while to learn. I just prefer auto instalers.

In that case I recommend searching for POSky (Project Open Sky) add-ons, as all of those aircraft that I have downloaded have come with auto-installers.

Well if you want something, you have to work for it.  Everything in life isn't going to be handed to you on a silver platter.  Get used to it.   After installing a couple things you will be an expert at it.  The first few times I tried installing planes or scenery it took a long time, now I can do it in just a few minutes.  And adding gauges may SEEM like a hassle, but it's really very simple and only takes a few minutes just like installing textures.

Auto installers are a pain. Never ever use them. Don't think click and forget. I have learned it the hard way. I once used it to install and uninstall and the installer got rid of over half my default and addon gauges. A lesson well learned by me.

8-) Hi, I learnt the hard way also. It is by far the best to extract the ZIP to a temp folder. What got me caught out, are  my best gauges being replaced by  an Auto Installer. Another annoyance are wizkids using the auto installers for their creation, do not always take care of the file stucture, and you go chasing for a panel file, or the model file etc, located wherever.?
