I was on youtube and i see these guys flying in formation on fs2004 like 2 tomcats escorting a 747. how do i do this?

Or he/she may be using the FS Recorder module.

It allows you to 'playback as AI traffic' multiple recorded flights, fly with the traffic, and record the flight with AI thus creating a recording of formation flying.
