There are default key combo's that change your 'eyepoint', i.e. move around inside the VC/aircraft. They are:

[shift+backspace or enter]
[ctrl+backspace or enter]
[ctrl+shift+backspace or enter]

Try them out to see what each does.

At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.

Use this view module from Flight1. It uses the scroll wheel on your mouse along with a key command (if my memory serves me correctly) such as Cntrl to move Forward/Backwards, Shift Left/Right and Cntrl + Shift for Up/Down.

http://www.fs-recorder.net

Download and install this recorder module, and set up a new VC view in the drop down "Recorder" menu to remove Microsoft's VC scrolling limitations.

The controls are:

CTRL+Backspace: Scroll forward
CTRL+Enter: Scroll backward
Shift+Enter: Scroll up
Shift+Backspace: Scroll down
CTRL+Shift+Enter: Scroll Right
CTRL+SHIFT+Backspace: Scroll left

Use these to explore your virtual cabin to your hearts content. Note that you do need that module I linked you to, because Microsoft's default views won't let you scroll that far.

Sorted. I got that F1 view thing and can now stroll round the cabin  :) Cheers guys.

One thing though - if the cabins are all nice and there, then why are they beyond the limits of FS  :-/ :-? :o

Because most people who are likely to buy commercial products/download from a large site such as FS are expected to know these key commands or have a module such as activecamera/F1View installed  ;)

Yes, its a view module that is effective everytime you load up FS, so its compatible with any aircraft/scenery/anything.
