hello,

you could delete the fs9.cfg file and restart .
Fs9 will build you a brand new clean fs9.cfg and that could do the trick.

Good luck and good day.

Sounds like it may have to do with the 'default' flight, as the sim looks for the file(s) for the default flight and aircraft when loading the screen.

1-Did you change the location of your 'My Documents' folder?....... Put it back where it was....

2-Did you manually delete any *.flt files from 'My Documents\Flight Simulator Files'....put the files back or open the FS9.cfg file and edit the line.....

At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.

But strange what it was.
This morning I flew without any problems.
On midday it didn't work anymore...

Between morning and mid day:

Were the surface texture files the sim was accessing different due to time of day...and corrupt or missing?

Where there AI AIRCRAFT parked there at that time that had corupt or missing textures?

BOTH of those things could cause this.

This is a CLASSIC symptom of a corrupt texture file in some add on plane or MORE LIKELY scenery that you have added in this area.

best,

Nono no sceduled tasks, there can't be any missing files. I've changed nothing.
But maybe I should have said that the computer was turned off between, but I had a normal shutdown and a normal startup...
