steering on the ground

Postby tag86 » Sun Jul 29, 2007 9:02 am

Hi all,
I recently been been flying the Dassault alphajet by Alpha Bleu Ciel and noticed that on the ground the only way to steer is to use differential brakes. As I use a joystick to fly and don't have peddles I was wondering if there is an easy way to change the nosewheel steering to the twist axis on my joystick like most other aircraft.

Any help would be appreciated

I downloaded what I think is the same ac.

Open the 'aircraft.cfg' file with Notepad. Find the [contact_points] section and edit the following line;

point.0=1, 12.15, 0.000,-5.50, 2600,

At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.
