Most probs will buy a PC but ive heard FSX dont work on Vista? Anyway i had the demo running on my Laptop and it was perfect no lags, delays, loading, freezes. I got rid of it because i only have 7 GB left on my hard drive.

EDIT: My dad has said that he will build me a homemade cockpit if i want, that will certainatly be as real as it gets

Thanks Alex will look into it.

A home-made cockpit is DEFINATLY not something you dad will be able to 'knock-up' for you, if you want a realistic one that is. Have a look at John Baymore's progress over in the home cockpit forum, you will see it's not easy task.

FSX was intended for Vista, so yes it does work, FS9 does not always work so well with Vista.

Good luck, and if you are looking to buy a computer aswell, you should be able to get most of the software in the above list if you limit yourself to around a

I wish my dad would be willing to build me a home cockpit. At least he rebuilds real planes, I'll have to do with that ;D
TrackIR is a GREAT product but there is a cheaper alternative (if you're willing to do some wiring) that I hear works as good or better and costs about $10. It can be found here: http://freetrack.online.fr/english/
It's definitely worth a head tracking product either way you go.
Get a good precision stick/yoke (saitek X52 is my choice, the CH yoke is nice too if you prefer a yoke, also the Thrustmaster  Cougar (I think)HOTAS is a very precise stick, but it is $300)
and a set of pedals (I just got the Saiteks and I love them, better forces, adjustability, and looks than the CH ones)
Freeware add-ons have been good enough for me so far, but I would recommend the above payware expansions, they are all quality products.
Triple-head monitors are a great addition also, but I dont know how well this would work with a head tracking program.
You could have your dad, instead of building a full-fledged home cockpit, modify your chair a little bit to move the stick between your legs, the throttle on the left armrest, and mount the pedals to the floor directly in front of you. This will help you get a full-body "feel" for the game without spending too much money and time.
Get a quality (I recommend Bose) 5.1 surround sound system and a good sound card.
With the rest of the cash (if there is any left) go buy any RAM upgrades and Graphics upgrades you can afford. With that, you should be able to smoothly run a highly modified FS9 or even FSX.

I know these aren't software upgrades, as most have recommended, but I have never purchased payware for FS9 and have had a fine realistic experience with freeware, the only payware thing I would recommend would be payware scenery and traffic upgrades.
low and....well....just low.

I just got Ultimate Terrain (Alaska & Canada, USA, Europe) last week. Be forewarned that, if you have other addon scenery, it may bugger things up with UT. I had the local river duplicated, with a second river running offset from the first, which was due to that problem. Once you get around these items, the result is stunning - some of the addons that may need to be taken out would be replaced with the detail that UT adds anyway, so there is no real loss involved. Features realistic-looking night lighting, accurate water placement and main roads where they should be. With this addon I am no longer interested in pursuing FSX (for the time being), as FS9 holds a lot more enjoyment for a long time to come. I am sure that FSX will have UT for the same areas eventually, but things are pretty darn hard to beat right now :)

One other item to consider might be Active Sky - I've purchased only these two addons for FS and recommend both. Here's a pic over Calgary in the evening, showing both Active Sky and Ultimate Terrain (albeit with addon downtown buildings)...
