Brake indicator

Postby Spades » Tue Jul 24, 2007 4:06 pm

Okay, I finally got my Saitek Pro Pedals and hooked them up, and I can honestly say that pedals make the sim. I hooked up the toe brake function, though, and now the computer always reads that the brakes are on.
At first, they actually were on until I pressed the toe brakes, which took them off. I have since inverted the controls, but I can't do that in CFS3. Any ideas there? Anyways, even when the brakes are off that pesky red box with BRAKES in white lettering comes up in the bottom left corner of the screen, and now never goes away. Any of you have clues as to how to disable said box and/or actions to take that may fix the problem?
Also, I do have the trigger still set as brakes, and the throttle hat switch on my x52 is set for differential brakes and parking brakes (left/right for differential, down for park) if that helps any. Thanks in advance for your help.

Are you sure you've not set the brake option as Parking Break? Also the slider bar next to the setting is it all white or all blue?

You need to put in a small deadzone, otherwise it will always read it as active braking.

First, I am sure that it was not the parking brake, as I set the brakes as an axis control, of which there is no parking brake option.
Second, I assume you mean the repeat bar by the slider bar. There is none, as it is not a button, but an axis. I do have the reverse box checked though, which is the only option next to the setting.
Third, I did put in a small deadzone on the axis, as I assumed that this was the problem, but it is not.
Thanks for your comments, I'm still trying to find a solution as of now.
