Round-The-World Tour

On The Ground

That's right! I'm going to start a round-the-world trip on the ground using Dirk Stuck's Formula 1 racer. I'll be starting from Downtown Miami in Florida and then head towards Alaska to reach the Bering Straite. The racer will get transported across the Bering Straite via the FSGV jumbo jet. Once I reach Russia, I'll be heading towards South Africa so that I can transport the racer again to Antarctica. I'll then ride towards South America and then ride back up towards Downtown Miami.

Now, before you all go into a fit, let me remind you that I have been doing some test drives in the same way. It took me at least an hour to get from Miami to merely 1/4 the length of Florida while driving at around 70-80 knots. On top of that, I found out that I can cross the rivers by simply flooring the accelerator, reach at least 90 knots and pull back on the stick to reduce the nose-down effect.

This is gonna be fun. ;D

Does this fall under any category of Guniness World Records?

Should we notify them of your intentions?

Eh, I don't know about that. I'm not sure if they have an official who's dedicated enough to see me sit in front of a monitor for hours at a time. ;D

You go mate!

Although, as much as I love F1, I think I would want a more comfortable ride, if I was going to drive around the world. Maybe a Rolls or something, hehe.
