OceanHeightField.bmp

Does anyone know what format the OceanHeightField file is in? Is it a DXT, or just a plain bitmap? Whenever I try to modify it things go wrong and it seems that the file has gone to maximum contrast, ie just black and white, judging by the appearance of the waves.

Thanks in advance

Jon

At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.
