You may be an FS Oldie, but do you call FSX FS2006????? I think not.
And wasn't the second FS called FS2.0 ? why then not the 9th FS9? :D

but let me try to count up to 2004! I bet you won't be able to do so :D
1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16,17,18,19,20,20.01,20.02,20.03,20.04 !!!!!!!!!!! :D

It's amazing the confusion that exists over the use of the terms "FS 2004" and "FS 9" with some Folks thinking that they are two entirely different programs..!

So....To alleviate the confusion I generally refer to the program as FS 2004....

...because...

....that's exactly what is printed on the front of the box when the kind man in the shop hands it to you, after you have  greased his palms with silver extracted from your Piggy-Bank with the aid of a kitchen knife... ::)..!

Paul....FS '98...FS 2000...FS 2002...FS 2004...(and the dreaded....FSX!)...LOL... ;D...!

as long as you don't have any addons installed in it!  :D

That's the second reason why I don't have FSX, yet! The first is money.

We should stop this here!
Because of:
1. The title is "Tree Files in FS9?"
2. This section could get moved to general discussion :D

So there's another question:

How could I make the engine contrails of my traffic (and/or my own plane) longer so I have it at a realistic length?
I know there are several add-ons for this where one has to add some [lights]-effects and set some positions with that.
But is there also another way like changing a texture, replacing an .fx-file or something else?

Hi seven it is then. I remember early days on a Beeeb and a Lynx PC, you had FS4 wire frame, and long nights, landing was easier
