Hi,

the standard installation of FS9 doesn't know the callsign for British Airways (which is Speedbird). What you need is EditVoicePack (google it). It's a freeware program that will update your ATC to know a lot more callsigns than what came with FS9. It will also accelerate the speed of the ATC so it....doesn't....sound....like....this.

Crash ;)

EditVoicePack is a great program, well worth having. But I don't think you need EVP to fix your immediate problem. "Speed Bird" should already be in the FS9 voice pack.

Just edit your aircraft.cfg to read:

atc_airline=Speed Bird          (Yes, it is two words)

Let us know if this stopped you from going mad.

There are some that FS9 know, I wish there was a list.  Some are weird too, when I had the Adobe Traffic Pack I heard one or two that I had to look up after the flight to find out who they were

There is, actually. You can find it here.

It lists all the airlines, airports, aircraft types, etc. that are recognised by FS2004's default voicepack.
