Panels can be moved from one plane to another by simply copying the panel folder of the desired panel. You can also ALIAS a panel from one plane to another this is very common in freeware aircraft.  Or another way is to obtain a program called FS PANEL STUDIO. This program is the easiest way to edit or add gauges to any aircraft in your fleet. There used to be a free ware program called cfgedit but when FS9 came out it was replaced by fs panel studio. This program takes all of the guess work out of panel editing as you actually work with the panel and adding a gauge is as easy as selecting what gauge to add and then drag it where you want it at save it and you are done. 8-)

I've never been able to put an add-on lacking a functioning auto-installer into the sim, so don't feel bad. You ain't the only dimbulb out there. In my vast and varied experience, the 'tutes don't work on this machine-- and this machine only. I've tried and failed abysmally several times, even when following the instructions to the letter. Just lucky, I guess...

FS panel stuido cna be found here www.fspanelstudio.com
But like Hagar said You might want to make sure you understand how panels work before you try editing or creating one. They are not really difficult to understand but can be confusing to a beginner 8-)
