You are kidding right? :o :o Well I'll don't think there is anything to fix the language for FS. I think you have a really bad copy of FS9. Are you sure it is authentic?  ;)

I would suggest you try to replace a file called USEnglishBig.gvp The file is found in the sound folder of FS9. You can find the original file on disk 1 I believe. It looks like your copy has gotten messed up.

...mmm not sure that will help ...in my experience that file is connected with the ATC speech. At least if it is not present then you can't talk and listen to ATC.........not sure what the problem is though.......commoner ;)

Not being funny, but are you an English speaker/writer... because if I go on a forum with...say,Japanese font, ( which I haven't downloaded ), the text all comes up like that.  So maybe if you're Russian, Japanese or Chinese or something...you should download the appropriate Language capability that is appropriate for you.

Aha.... where did you buy the copy of fs2004 that you have installed?  What coiuntry are you in?  It is possible thjat the cversion you have is the XXXXXXXXXXXXX language version, and your are using a computer with the YYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY language operating system on it...... andt he necessary characters are not loaded into Windows.

Is that a possibility?

best,
