Arranging of the Scenery Library

Postby ppgstf » Mon Jun 04, 2007 8:21 am

I have been using FS9 for about two years now and in that time I have added numerous add ons.

If memory serves me right, I seem to recall reading somewhere that there is an order that they should appear in the scenery library.  I think the default scenery etc should be the last on the list, that kind of thing.

Can any kind sole tell me if this is correct and in what order my add ons should appear in the list?  At the last check I had 167 items in the library, ranging from individual airports to terrain programmes.

I run an Athlon 3000, 6600GT card with 1mb of memory and I think I get decent fps with just about everything maxed out, if this can help tweaking things a bit more, that would be great.

Thanks in advance to anyone who answers me.

You have a 6600GT with 1MB of memory? Wow, where did you find it?! ;D

Jokes aside, the order in the scenery should be more or less: Meshes in the lower, just above the default objects, 3D objects and landclasses in the middle, and airports on top. ;)
