COPY AND ADDING FILES WITH VISTA

Another issue that I have is when for example I have the B737 and I want to add a texture when I want to add the texture info on the aircraft.cfg and I want to save I receive a message saying that is not able to copy the new info, can anyone help me please thanks.

you need toooo...

go to control panel then find user accounts. find your account (or it might be at this screen) and turn off admin notifications or something. i had the same problem. annoying vista lol  >:(

I think there's another way of doing it without fiddling with administrator settings. I think you right click the flight sim folder and select properties. Then look around and check the appropriate box. Someone else may be able to be more specific - I don't have vista; It was here I saw the tip though.

I've been fighting shy of installing SP2: were there any advantages that you saw by installing it?

Hello Micro...;)...!

The only reason I had/was forced to install SP2, (therein lies another story!... ::)...), was to be able to install/run FSX (an absolute necessity or the program wont work, according to Uncle Bill).... :'(...!

Now that I just use my FSX disks as beer mats, it wasn't really necessary, my FS9 ran perfectly well on SP1...;)...!
