Right side of aircraft viewing problem..

Postby f-16 » Fri May 18, 2007 2:39 pm

I noticed that when flying ANY aircraft in FS9 that when the aircraft is viewed (spot view) from the right side while flying level, it has a higher angle of attack than the left side view.

Is this a bug? Is it fixable?

Never noticed that myself.

If you got to spot view flying any airliner, when the aircraft is flying level, look at the plane from the left and right side. On mine there is a definite difference in AoA.

I will try to post some pics to show. This happens on ALL airliners that I have (737, 757's, 767's, 777 and 747).

It sounds like your graphics card isn't refreshing fast enough. Try uninstalling the drivers and then installing a new set and rebooting your machine. Also check you don't have lots of background programs running as that hogs resources that can lead to graphics upsets as well ;)

I wonder how many of my Sim V Chums experience the problem of poor "Angle of attack"...

I receive lots of E-Mails every day offering me medication to cure the ailment... ::)...!

Personally, I haven't tried it, but I am assured on good authority that it works... ::)...!

Baron....(45 degree angle of attack...Trust me!).... :-*... [smiley=2vrolijk_08.gif].....!

While "that" kind of angle of attack is indeed a critical matter for the male population, here we're not discussing of it. Unless, to resolve this problem, you want to suggest putting said medications into the virtual fuel of the problematic plane(s) Scott flies. [smiley=evil.gif]
