Where is the FS9.cfg?

Hey guys, I can't find this file! I've already search in Microsoft/FS9, but there isn't any file in extension .cfg. Just the aplication to play the game. Coz the game is installed in Administrador. C:\Application Data\Microsoft Games\Flight Simualtor 9. Someone can help me? Some guys said  that if i couldn't find this file, the game was unable to run. But my game is running, i dont know!

Help me, I have to tweak my game, coz it is awful the graphics! Many bugs...

Hi. May I suggest you check out the Flight Simulator 2004 FAQs posted at the top of this forum menu. Where is the FS9.cfg located?

I've already read this....but even way i cant find this file...The aircrafts and terrains i found, but the fs9.cfg not!!!

Assuming you're using Windows XP the file will be in this location. C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Microsoft\FS9

Note that it is not in the FS9 root directory. It is classed as a hidden file so you will have to set your Windows Explorer Folder Options to Show Hidden Files. This also applies to Search options.

Now, I'm in another computer, i cant test this now. But i think that in Documents and Settings/username/Microsoft Files/ doesnt have a fs9.cfg. But i 'll check it out!

If you have FS9 installed & running the file will be there. Trust me.

MY COMPUTER - TOOLS MENU - FOLDER OPTIONS - VIEW TAB

Scroll down and do the following:

Bullet in: Show hidden files and folders

Click APPLY, then OK to close the box

It was in hidden files really!!
Thanks, help me very much, now i wanna see if the tweaks can change the awful imagem that i saw in FS9. Soon i'll post the crack
