Hardware

Postby Medic2762a » Tue May 08, 2007 7:44 pm

I'm looking to build a new computer that will not only allow me high speed internet service, but that will also actually run FS9 without the frame rate problem (running XP). So, I'm asking what hardware would be suggested to put into this new system that will allow me to run the game consistently at 24+ fps, even when using continuous real weather, and how it works for you as well.   Any suggestions on what works for you?

Thanks!

Mine is good enough. The only times frame rate goes under 22 (locked), but remains inside 15, is when there's a lot of AI around. And for a lot, I mean A LOT. I have all the PAI Packages, some WOAI, some personal and some other too.

Of course you'll not find anything so old like mine around (unless you search on ebay), but you'll be able to buy something more powerful. More power to you and your simulation. ;)
