OK guys I finally got stumped. It says on thge nimitz model you can relocate it using bglcomp.... How do you do that. :-[ BGL comp is the one thing I have never really used before and I figured I would ask rather than get frustrated.  8-)

Which package are you working with? There are a few.

Looking through my archives I find a CV74.zip which is easily movable by editing the
Lat/Lon data in the XML file and ten compiling that to a BGL with BGLCOMP.
It's pretty straight forward.

I also have a "CV_74.zip" which I think use a similar MDL file but has some
other attributes like visable arresting cables and a wake effect. This one is
also easily relocated using the same technique as above.

Here is a portion of the XML file for a Nimitz class carrier I located off
San Francisco. showing the items that you would change:

 lat="N37 47.33001"            <---- changes location
 lon="W122 43.38000"         <---- changes location
 alt="0.0000M"
 altitudeIsAgl="FALSE"
 pitch="0.00"
 bank="0.00"
 heading="270.00"              <---- changes heading

This particular download uses MDL "6514a4e0708145389443514f3eee4c22.mdl"
