Yes, the FS9 3D world is a cylinder and not a sphere, therefore the north and south poles do not exist in FS9 and the sim stops far short of the poles.

There was not really a need for you to prove it. One of the very few innovations of "the cross" is finally a spherical geography. Shame it's paid so dearly. :-?
This is one thing that FSX supposedly fixed.




It sounded as if there was doubt, so I offered proof of one of the many great new features in FSX.
