Refuelling question

Postby crotiusf16 » Wed May 02, 2007 2:21 pm

I have noticed today whilst I had landed at Gaberone Airport that when I went to the fuel point. After I had asked for clearence to take off, some of the AI planes that landed came and turned off at the taxiway where I was told to hold for traffic.

Is this a problem all of the simmers have experienced? Or am I just not following the right procedures?

Please advice.

Well, under FS(allnumbers) AI means Artificial Idiocy. Make the sums yourself. 8-)

AI does many stupid things. But what are supposed to do? It's what M$ has given us! Get used to it. It might be a good idea to turn off aircraft collisions in case of an occurance of artificial idiocy

Just a suggestion - you may be in the wrong taxiway. When you get taxi clearance turn on progressive taxi (3). Follow the pink line! I'm not saying you haven't, just double-checking. Otherwise it would be that that "Artificial Idiocy" is really kicking in. But I tend to find that they stop in front of me if I get in their way, so all I can suggest is: slew to the side, let it pass and slew back!
