Autopilot settings steps

Postby RAFAIR100 » Thu Apr 26, 2007 10:21 am

I seem to remember that, in earlier FS, it used to be possible to change the 'step' settings for the autopilot.     Recently, in FS9, I have loaded a couple of aircraft for which the autopilot can only be changed in steps of 10 degrees of heading and 1000 ft of height.     Does anyone know how I can get back to 'normal' autopilot steps?

It's a gauge thing. The only way I know to get around it is to buy an reg code for FSUIPC. One of the options of registered FSUIPC in fact allows to put a patch on this problem.

A freeware solution would be pleasant to have, but I'm currently in the dark of any free solutions. :(

Just a thought, because I seem to have had this problem before where "something" has changed my settings!.....

Check:
Menu > Settings >International >
Make sure it's set to "U.S. System"

The other settings relate to "Metric" settings, ie;  Altitude set in either Feet or Metres, which will give you large intervals... :o...!

Try that...;)...!
