

















Check you elevator trim. Sometimes at the start of a flight the elevator trim is set to "down". With it set like this you'll never get off the ground.
Check your fuel and payload. You may be overweight. Remove some fuel (say 50%) and try again.
What aircraft and airport are you flying from? Field elevation has a tremendous impact on performance, especially for prop driven aircraft. The higher your field elevation is the longer t/o run you'll need and lower GTOW.
[i]Did you set your flaps? Most aircraft need about 10 degrees of flap for t/o[/i]
If you slew make sure in addition to seting your altitude that you set your airspeed to something above stall speed for that particular aircraft. It may be dropping like a stone because airspeed is zero or some value below stall.
