The virtual cockpit is inbuilt in the plane's model, so either the plane you downloaded has it or you'll never be able to put one there yourself.

A well done VC is sometimes even more complicated to code than a plane's model, and then there's the fact that you have to code a working panel in it. It's quite a lot of work. A lot of work not all the freeware planes makers are willing to do.

Then again, the freeware coders not paid for their planes, so holding the absence of a VC against the plane maker it's rather pointless and quite impolite. ;)

Tastes varies, but personally I use the VC only when flying visual, because it helps immersion. When flying instrumental I prefer the old, practical 2D panel.

I am aware that many planes have no VC's.. I am reffering to a few that did specify that one was included, I guess I should be more specific..  ;) they just don't appear, and I'm wondering why.. as an example, all it is is a first person point of view from the nose of the plane, if I look back, I can see the cabin, and the rest of the plane, almost like a glitch.. thanks for the help  :)

Or the F-117 that was so stealthy you couldn't see it at all?

You can't see the VC of few planes, or all the VC's of all the planes that should have them? :-?

If you can't see ANY VC of ANY PLANE (not even the default) go in the fs9.cfg and search the string SEE_SELF= under the [GRAPHICS] tab and ensure its value is 1 (if it is 0, among other things, you'll never be able to use any VC).

If you can't see only some VC of only some add-ons, then probably those add-ons are published in different versions, like with VC version and without VC version, like in the case of the Aero Commander, and you mistakenly downloaded the NO-VC version.

Ensure, in this case, that you have downloaded the correct version of the plane. :)
