Config Change

Postby talon284 » Thu Apr 12, 2007 1:49 am

I have been seeing forums and listings where you can change the enternal file (poss. Config file) to be able to see other add on aircraft w/o having the same installed on your own computer.  But now I can not find these posts anywhere to be able to do this.  Is there anyone who can help with this.

Open fs9.cfg in Notepad. Under the [MULTIPLAYER] header change the values of these entries from 0 to 1.

ALLOW_PLANE_MODEL_SEND=0
ALLOW_PLANE_MODEL_RECEIVE=0
ALLOW_TEXTURE_SEND=0
ALLOW_TEXTURE_RECEIVE=0

All players would have to do the tweak for it to work. I don't play online myself & although I've asked people to try it for me I've had no feedback at all.

If this in fact does work, then in order to get other online players to change the conifg, this should also be posted in the multiplayer board
