safe mode??

my icon on my desktop for flight simulator now says safe mode  anyone know why, or what it means?

The FS safe mode is the debug mode. In Safe mode FS starts with the 3D graphics off, flying with graphic rendering completely software (an eyesore). :o


Unless you're having problems with your graphics card, either use your normal starting icon or go in the FS9 folder and start the fs9.exe file directly and you'll be flying the normal, 3D accelerated mode. :)

I must have jet lag or something I knew about the safe mode but it just did not ring bells :o ::) :P
