Don't you worry about such a thing. The Alias command in the Panel.cfg is perhaps the ONLY non bug infested thing in FS. ;D

The Alias is all you need. Copying over the same panel times and times again is only HD space waste. ;)

Like Ashaman said the alias is all you need. But if you are like me and do not like to Alias panels or sounds just copy the entire panel folder to the aircraft you want to use it in. It is the same thing and who knows it might save a little time as FS will not have to look for the Aliased aircraft.

Within the Aircraft folder I use the FSFSCONV to place all common panels and sound.

Like I said beore I do not like any aircraft that uses a panel from another aircraft. This could not be done in the real world every aircraft has its own panel. So what I do is after down loading a air craft I check it out and if I like it the first things I do is to find a panel and sounds for it. If I can not find one than I will copy the entire panel folder and sound folder over. I also will not keep any aircraft that uses a two engine panel for a plane that has three or four engines. 8-)
