everything shimmers

I got fs9 a few days ago installed it it runs fine and everything, then i noticed everything was shimmering like it was covered in glitter especcialy trees but when you get close to them or pause the game it stops...is this normal or is there someway to fix this?

Turn off the glitter effects in the Display Settings tab!  ;) ;D

Honestly I have nee got a clue! Could be a graphics card issue...  :-?

In the ...Settings>Display>Hardware tab move the 'Mip mapping qualityl' slider to 4 or 5 at the most.

At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.

As Dave pointed out, set MIP map slider to a maximum of 5, prefeably 4.
