My FS9 crashes now..

Postby SkyNoz » Fri Apr 06, 2007 2:00 pm

I installed a new FSUIPC and it seems to be the suspect of havening my FS9 load up at 77% then crash to desktop. If anyone happens to know how to fix this it would be great.. ::)

I know this is a REALLY silly question but you did install the FS9 update and not the FSX version by accident?

Yes I have the 9.1 update, as well as FSX installed but not related with the FSX version update. I'm running on Vista home edition 32bit

Sorry I meant the latest update of FSUIPC for FS9 (didn't make myself clear there) rather than the latest version for FSX!

Yes, 'FSUIPC v 3.74' installed for FS9, I remember going through this awhile back as I can't really remember what I did to fix this... ::)

Have you tried removing the FSUIPC module from the FS9/Modules folder and tried rebooting?

Okay, so I remembered what I did wrong, it's not he FSUIPC as I thought it may have been but the "render texture" in the display settings, I have add on on cloud textures, so it's essential for that to be selected for them to load. Thank's Ozzy for the help. ;)
