That's torque, P factor and wind, if you're flying a prop plane, and wind mainly on the jets. It's part of the deal in aviation. ;)

If it is so pronounced to be worrying, could be poor joystick calibration too. :)

If the rudder & wheels ARE moving to the right, then it's not prop torque or wind, however if the plane is just pulling to one side, then as ashaman has said, it's prop torque/wind.

Are you absolutely certain the rudder & wheels are moving? in which case I'd suggest re-calibrating your controls - if the rudder & wheels stay central, but the plane drifts to one side, then it is perfectly normal & you will have to use the rudder to compensate.

Cheers,

TSC.

To recalibrate a joystick you go in the windows control panel, double click on game peripherals, select your joystick and press calibrate, then follow the instruction on screen. :)

Double check that the little thumb wheel on the throttle part of the X52 (the wheel with the 'i' button in it) is centered, when you move it you will feel a small indentation in the center, that should solve the problem. Have a look at the rudder when your moving the wheel & you'll see the problem.

This is a Saitek stick throttle combo problem. I lost count of the emails to Saitek Support. The only way I got around this was to go CH with a yoke and throttle quadrant which is way much more fun. 8-)

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.
