no selected plane visible

Postby jankees » Sun Apr 01, 2007 12:01 pm

after I adjusted the resolution of my sim to 1280x1024, the selected plane is no longer visible, I only get an black window.
Does anybodt have any idea what causes this and how to remedy it?

Let me guess, you have a Nvidia videocard and beside putting the resolution at 1280x1024 you put the Anti Alias at 8X too, correct? ::)

Do not use such a high value of AA on Nvidia video systems, FS9's plane preview simply goes insane and refuses working, in full screen mode. Or, if you want to use that AA value, then fly windowed. In windowed mode FS9 allows you to see the plane's preview even at 8X of AA. ;)

Flying in windowed mode also can bring increased performance on certain systems, but not on all. FS9 works much better on my system in windowed mode, but on my friends, it won't run at all in windowed mode.
