Ground handling issues

Postby Transit » Wed Mar 28, 2007 8:21 pm

Hi Guys,
I'm having terrible stife trying to steer any plane on the ground...
Using original Logi Force stick with no rudder axis.
Using default keystokes for rudder 0 and enter is hopeless...
plane swings violently left and right...
have tried all combinations of sensitivities and dead zone.
Tried putting rudder on joystick throttle axis...still huge inputs with no chance of steering straight.

any help greatly appreciated

Pete

Even though i cant help your problem, My best advice would be to go out and get a joystick with a rudder axis (the one I have cost me around $30 if i remember), or go get some rudder pedals and keep the joystick you have if you like it.

Sorry I couldnt answer your origional question :P

At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.
