Maybe you're confusing "saved flights" with "saved flight plans"?
They're two different things...
Saved flights include plane, airport, time, and weather, but not route info... route info, headings, ETAs, etc. are all saved with Flight Planner.
Unless you create a flight plan with Flight Planner, start said flight, then save that flight (not the plan but the flight), you won't get your navlog, etc. back by choosing a flight from "My saved Flights"... you'll have to open the save flight first, then open the flight plan.
I find it more convenient to do the extra step beforehand, especially if I am flying a long trip in several sittings... I'll just save the flight as "part 1" or whatever, and when I open it again, I'll be right where I left off, with everything as it was including the flight plan.
