Is that's so? You're the only one I've heard with this problem. All the others only had benefits. :-?

The advantage? It installs plenty of bridges and it removes some little bugs. Never had any trouble with it. No drop in FPS.

Crash ;)

The real advantage (for those like me that never fly in USA and so never see those pesky bridges [that... guess what? Are all in USA!!!] seen that M$ thinks the world ends outside the sacred borders of the Unites States of America) is that FS9.1 has a serious memory leak corrected that in FS9.0 really can get on the nerves.

It's a good idea to install it anyway. :)

I think it creates bugs than remove it, since I installed it, the game crashing very very often. I stopped playing FS for 3 days due to the stupid update. And I don't why but the last time I installed it there was no uninstall icon came up neither Add/Remove program menu or the FS main directory, so unfortunately  I cannot uninstall it.

The bridges were an incidental part of the 9.1 patch.  What it really fixed was the autogen memory leak in the original 9.0 that caused framerates to get lower and lower if you flew around the same area a lot.

It has to be installed in a specific manner.  Follow the directions to the letter.  Otherwise it can cause screw ups I am told.

It has been around for YEARS..... and few problems have been reported.  It is just fine.

best,
