Whereabouts can I download airport gates for my FS9?

You can't download gates as such. I'm assuming you're talking about walkways? Some scenery has 'em and some doesn't...

EZ-Scenery has numbed gates you can place wherever.  Unfortunately, it's a purchase program.

To my knowledge ther is no such place to down load gates at. Some afcad files might have gates in them and some airport scenery may have gates as well, Other than that you would have to make the gates your self.
You can try RUNWAY 12 it is a object placer but I have never used it so I am not sure if it has gates in it or not, and if it does I am not sure if you can edit a existing airport with RUNWAY 12.

At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.
