I would never have opened this topic in the first place if not for the fact that ATC did not always act this way during my repeated touch and go routines. Sometimes it does this, sometimes not. I'm just trying to understand why.

Well, some airports have, as you know, more options than others. I would not get too worried, was I in you. :)

Take my case for an example. For a while ATC stops assigning ILS procedures, I ask around. No one can say a surefire way to put things back to order and I decide to flip-off ATC and its strange thought patterns... only to have it return working correctly (???) after a while. ::)

In short, if you really want coherence with real world, don't lose your time with pseudo AI from Redmont. Try and begin flying on-line (I would too if I could), or simply in your case, if you need to put some experience under the belt with some T&G's put AI traffic to zero and do as you want. ;)

Simply spelled, non ti curar di lor ma guarda e passa. 8-)

Hi again

Just in case you haven't tried yet. Slowing down and even stopping on the runway got me no reply from ATC while in T&G mode. I even caused a Mooney to have to go around, still no instructions from ATC to me. Once I took off again, I began to receive ATC instructions again, on downwind as usual. So I guess it does just go into a loop and only choosing one of the options that are available before you reach the approach end of the runway, you are in looped T&G mode with no options to give your position.
I haven't tried FSX to see if it is the same. I hope not
