g problem

Is it normal for the fuel flow to go to zero and for you to nearly lose power when you exceed -3 g's? I was flying the beriev be-103 and did a hard dive(terrain following in a prop ) when the engines nearly shut down.

full throttle
full mixture
96% fuel left
went from 89 to 0 gallons per hour

That'd seem about right. It's the same concept for when you go inverted in a plane that doesn't have an engine capable of being fed that way, Correct?

What basically happens is: The fuel ends up not reaching the engine when pulling negative G's. Unless the engine is designed to be able to be fed inverted, It'll starve itself and act as if there were no fuel at all  ;)

ok, i get it now.

i checked the aircraft.cfg and noticed it was a gravity carb
