Above this thread, there is one link named "Upload Images". Click on that and follow the instructions to upload you picture. After uploading (care for the size of the pictures) there ist one YaBBC tags you have to copy and paste in your post. :)

Fret not... you're not the first to stumble blindly here...
A hint: choose a prefix for all of your JPEGs that you upload, or else you may find you've chosen a name already in use (which could cause your image to fail to upload).

For example, I generally use the prefix "rot" and the image name following will be the date created, plus a number, if it's part of a series.

this system also makes it much easier to re-post an image ("now what the hell was the name of that funny picture...?").

Another hint: after you upload and you see your list of images displayed, hold Ctrl and click each one once to highlight all of them. Then right click and select "copy", close the list window, and past the image names (now with YaBB code attached) into your message.

Takes you way back, dunnit? ;)

Now I'm trying to remember what, if anything, WABAC stood for...  :-?

The machine in my avatar is not the WABAC machine, unfortunately, just a delapidated old Martin 202... only goes back as far as about 1950. ;)

a trick i use is keep the original filename, it is usually a time tag and unless someone else on simv took a screenshot at the exact same moment, it will be unique.

i also save all the yabb tags in a notepad document so i can keep track of them
