FS2004 won't open, error message

Postby brohism » Sat Dec 23, 2006 10:16 pm

When I try to open FS2004, I get the following error: "Please insert FS2004 Disc 4, select OK and restart application".  I make sure the CD is in (which it is), click OK, and nothing happens.  With the CD still in, I try to open the program again, with the same message.  I rebooted and tried, with no success.  I even tried uninstalling and reinstalling, all with no change.  Why would this be happening, and how can I fix this?  Thanks.

Sounds stupid but are you SURE that its disk 4 in the tray?  :P

If your sure it definitely is disk 4, then that would suggest that your disk is too badly damaged for the disk-reader to read.

Alex,

BTW, check your PM  ;)

Worse an Admin is talking to you. The No-CD patch is ILLEGAL! And SimV has a VERY straight and to the point policy on it which is DON'T!!!
It aids piracy and at the behest of Microsoft all the credible sites do NOT promote it and its usage.
Further mention will see you out the door, no kidding :-*

I'm sorry ozzy72.
I've been thinking. When Nick where getting a hard time here, you all sat down. Where you all just waiting, or did you want him to join out?
I've past a sentence here. Then you are awake and will show me the door out.
Which door did Nick go out? Maybe i'll use the same.
Peace and all that.
