Help with rudder pedals

Postby cavity » Tue Dec 26, 2006 2:58 pm

I just installed CH PRO rudder pedals and everything works fine except that I get the red differential brakes sign all the time, even when Im not using them.  I have adjusted the sensitivity and the null zone but it wont release the brakes.  Anyone else have problems like this?  Todd

Usually just jiggling the toe brakes makes it go away.  If that doesnt work, try calibrating the pedals

Thanks for the quick response.  I have calibrated and no change.  When I first start the flight, the are fine.  Once I touch the pedals, they are on.  Todd

I use the ch pedals, and have no such problem.   I would first go to the ch products control manager and check to see that the axis are set up correctly, you have three axis on the pedals, rudder, right brake left brake.    Then check the settings in game to make sure that FS9 is seeing the correct controler if you are using a different stick and throtle other than CH products.

I was using the default calibration settings.  Once I loaded the software, I corrected the deviations through the settings and now have properly functioning pedals.  I can only wonder why I waited so long to get them, makes it so realistic.  Todd
