Nimrod sound
I have downloaded and installed the 17.4Mb Nimrod package of 51 squadron .This aircraft flies beautifully and everything works except that the sound is intermittent especially when changing views ,this also occurs when using the keyboard .Can anyone put me in the right direction to cure this problem .arty

Do you have a Sound Blaster? If you do, then update the drivers to the last version.

If you're using a integrated sound card, then probably the plane demands too much power to the CPU for this to process correctly the sounds (integrated audio interfaces use main CPU power to work). Solution: buy a cheap PCI sound card.

I can't offer help but just wanted to say I got this aircraft a few days ago & my sound is OK with the SigmaTel Audio that came with the Dell 9150.

Thanks ashaman & gypsymoth for your comments . I have other big jets installed and don't get the problem with them. On the Nimrod I tried substituting the sound but it made no difference,  did I misss something here?
Maybe some files got distorted during installation I wonder if I remove the aircraft from my computer and then re-install it might fix it?? arty

Don't know if this will help...Try to change the Sound settings in FS9...Change the quality to High and see if that makes a difference ;)
