FS9 locking up after tweaking

I recently performed Nicks tweaks and updated my video card. After doing so FS9 locks up and I
have to use ctrl alt delete and then FS9 restarts. At times it will load and I am able to fly but most
of the time it will lock up and I get a window saying MS flight sim has encountered a problem
and needs to shut down, then it restarts. Any ideas on what is going on and how to repair it?
