Mustang P51D nel

Postby Bubblehead » Sat Dec 09, 2006 12:59 pm

I have (had) an excellent P51 panel however all the gauges were missing. Can anyone direct me to where I can get  the gauges? or perhaps a nice replacement panel?

It would help to know where you got the panel. Most P-51 panels would use the default p51d.gau. Check your FS9\Gauges folder to make sure you haven't deleted it.

You can retrieve the default gauges from msgame3.cab on FS9 CD-2.

:-? :-? :-? :-? :-? :-?

I must admit that the panel in question was not the one which came with the P51D. I got the panel from the list of Simviation panel downloads and installed it because it looked more realistic. So how do I get Tanakas panel, how do I get the Wings of Power.

That's a tad cryptic & I'm no clairvoyant. There must be more than one Mustang panel posted here at Simviation & I have no way of knowing which one you're referring to. Checking the wrong one out would be a waste of my time & yours. I'm more than happy to help but a clue like the file name or link to the page it's posted on would be useful. :)

That's all very well but it doesn't solve the original problem. :P

PS. It's also been reworked for FSX.

That's true but he confirmed the problem panel came from Simviation. My point is that there are quite enough versions of the P-51 posted right here at SimV without searching for them on other sites. There's no point in checking any of them out unless we know which one he's talking about.

Kilotango my dear chap. You might have noticed that this is the Simviation forum. Pete (the webmaster) went to a great deal of trouble setting it up & maintaining it to help Simviation users. It should be obvious that he would prefer people to stay here rather than use his competitors. It appears that you are a relatively new member here so you might not be aware of this. If you care to read the intro from the link to my Lair in my sig you will see that I've been associated with this site for a very long time & have quite enough to do here. The other websites have their own support forums.

Indeed but unless Bubblehead responds with the information we need all this is a waste of time. Frustrating isn't it? :P :D

Yes sir. And i love this community.
But if we are able to talk, we can communicate, then cooperate, make misunderstandings to a down-level where we can prevent a "war" going on!
If we cant talk to the others, what do you have left then?
Sorry. Just thinking about Simviation and Avsim.

I have nothing personal against Avsim or any other genuine freeware site. It's simply that my loyalty is to Simviation & I respect the webmaster's wishes.
