I'm with Commoner. Half the fun is tweaking, improving, and adding your favorite gizmos and gadgets to panels... ;D 8)

lol...to each his own rotty.......I agree it's a nice plane but I just like a bit of DIY........It's like my old brain needs it to keep me going...............commoner ;)

Not knockin' it; I just have so little "me and my PC" time that I prefer to fly.
I'll be doing a little tweaking this weekend, though... got some add-ons to reinstall.
Might even mess around with the repaint kit that came with the 310... ;D

......IMHO  just buying this wonderful sim solely to FLY is, as my old Grannie used to say, "akin to buying a turkey and eating just the the feathers.."

...so much more to do, and so little time........... commoner ;D

lol..I didn't say the OBI feed was a no-no..just that I can't help you with it personally  ;)

You can use any of those gauges in your panel...in fact there is a flap indicator which looks quite neat and would suit your purpose.

Best and easiest way would be to put the .cab file which is in the 340 PANEL folder into your 310 PANEL folder........it's only 95k.......this contains all the files for the gauges.

Then simply take the lines for the gauges you want from the 340 panel.cfg and paste them into the 310 panel.cfg as usual.....making the gauge numbers follow on as you did before and moving and resizing as you now know how to............keep plodding.............commoner ;D

A scholer and a gent as ever, delighted to hear the 340 is usable, I'll have a go at it soon...

Flaps work great...cheers :D

Time to fly a bit now and enjoy the fruits of my (and your) labours..  ;D

Here's the 'new girl', as promised.

Image

Looks wise as far as I can go without the DF310 ASI, fuel, FF, suction gauges and KMA 24.

I've tweaked some numbers so it cruises at real numbers. Panel based on a single pilot layout now as it wasn't practical to keep the two-crew one.

For real IFR work, unfortunately there remains
a couple of outstanding improvements. It needs the OBI to be fed from Nav2 as stated earlier. Also, it needs a second Altimeter, preferably independantly setable.

Needs the mixture needles to be tweaked up a bit, so they are about on the bottom blue (square) for climb power as shown (ie24.5MP/2500rpm), and then where they are now for cruise settings (ie 22/2200).

Would love to properly finish off the job, so if anyone knows how to that'd be gggggrrrrrrreeeeaaaaatttt

.........lol...well looks like you are getting there dir........not much to offer though.......just not really a flier in the sense that you seem to be...not so worried by little details is what I mean.....looks like the Panels Design area of SimV can't help  with your little "problems"  ;D

...BTW, going back to your original question, I see you still have the Stack as a window and have the icon to toggle it on and off........

........I got round to adding it to the main panel and got rid of the window and toggle icon..........these are the numbers I have found to fit mine.........if you want to do that, you know by now all about renumbering the windows and gauges etc.........

gauge64=Bendix_King_Radio!Bendix-King Radio Audio, 447, 279, 207, 32
gauge65=Bendix_King_Radio!Bendix-King Radio Nav-Comm 1, 447, 309, 207, 60
gauge66=Bendix_King_Radio!Bendix-King Radio Nav-Comm 2, 447, 367, 207, 60
gauge67=Bendix_King_Radio!Bendix-King Radio ADF, 447, 425, 207, 42
gauge68=Bendix_King_Radio!Bendix-King Radio DME, 447, 465, 207, 42
gauge69=Bendix_King_Radio!Bendix-King Radio Xpndr, 447, 505,207, 49
gauge70=Bendix_King_Radio!Bendix-King Radio AP, 447, 551, 207, 48

...best of luck...happy flying.............commoner ;)

Thanks for the stack lines commoner, I'll fit those in next...

As the project appears to be nearing it's end, and since you have been virtually completely responsible for my being able to do it, I'm indebted to you and thank you for all your work and help.
