Hi All
Ok apart from FS crashing everytime I click on the Kneeboard I also cannot use any of the help files or learning school or anything else apart from the create flight screen without the sim crashing back to XP. The best thing to do is uninstall and reinstall, probs is that I have many aircrafts installed (which are easy to back up) but there are many guage files in main folder which are needed for all those planes and I dont know what they are, I also have many other updates installed like water textures and stuff which I will lose if I uninstall. Is there anyone out there who knows why FS keeps crashing when accessing these screens??

Well then Back up the entire gauges folder:

Here is what *I* would back up: (Bear in mind, I will not be held responsible for any loss of addons that you may have placed in other directories, this is simply a 'stock' backup. Only you know what else you have modified...)

Addon Scenery
Aircraft
Effects
Flights
Gauges
Modules (Also bear in mind some NEED to be installed with thier native installer, placing theme back here may result in them not working)
Scenery > World (This is a common place for addons such as road textures, autogen textures etc.)
Scenery (Not the whole folder, only areas where you are sure you have made a change, such as Eurw, etc.)
Sound
Texture

Single Files -

Scenery
suneffect <- Not needed if you havn't made a change

You may also want to back up your .cfg.

I say again this is only what *I* would, and have done during re-installs. I do not know what you have modified, or how you have modified it. If your not sure, back it up.
