RECORDER 1.3!!!

Postby Jakemaster » Sun Sep 24, 2006 5:38 pm

I havent tried it yet, but RECORDER MODULE 1.3 is out!  Now its got ADVANCED VC VIEWS!  That means the same movement you get outside the plane can now be INSIDE, and you can create new views!  Wngviews galore just like with the older viersions, except now its INSIDE!

Go get it!

I had the 1.3 beta and this version also supports multiple "Play as Traffic" planes, and it remembers the plane you were in so you dont have to switch to it first if you want to see it  ;D  Its REALLY nice, but as far as i know still wont play helicopters as traffic.  :(  But i must say it is by far my favorite program for fs9  ;D

Monty Python - The search ofr the hooly grail!!!

It is SOOOO GOOODD...

sorry for being off topic guys...:)

yes, recorder is a great tool , especially for making videos as it records all the plane movements correctly and is the only one that shows correct helicopter behaviour and not jerckish like FS replay...:)

cheers

Do the views function outside of recording, whats better F1 view, of this?

Recorder is a very misleading name, it does record flight data, meaning you can play back a flight as AI and watch replays (with all animations).  The views are just another feature, completely seperate from the recording.

This is better than F1 view because it allows you to move the eyepoint away from the focal point, creating wak and follow type angles.  F1 view can be used with it, BUT not when in advanced views (F1 view in default views but not in recorder views)

Recorder doesnt record flights like it sounds.  Its not a movie maker, its almost like a black box.  It 'records' the aircrafts position and animations, and allows you to save it to be played back later or to watch replays with animations (only module that lets you do so).  You keep saying you prefer W&F, but you seem to forget that not everyone can buy any piece of payware they want.  Recorder functions just as well as walk and follow, and its free.  So stop saying that you dont like recorder and prefer walk and follow because the simple fact is recorder is all most of us can or will ever have, and its an incredible piece of freewar

recorder's great, it just takes some trial and error for the right angle. the learning curve isnt too steep either.

its great for doing videos of general aviation, and, as i love doing, carrier operations with the beloved tomcat :)

its cool to see 2 of them on the catapault, and then flying in some formations, etc.
