Locked Windows!

Postby Fly2e » Fri Nov 10, 2006 9:00 am

Hello everybody!
Was wondering if somebody could shed some light on something.
It seems that I can not move any windows around when I open them up.

Example: In cockpit mode, when I would open up my GPS, I could grab it with the mouse and move it around. It no longer moves.
When I open up my radios, I can no longer move them around.

The "outline" moves, but when I unclick to let go, it is where it was.

Did I "lock" these windows somehow?

Thanks!!

Dave

Dave, can you move your windows outside FS9? I mean can you move folders around in XP itself? If not the problem is in Windows not in FS.

Crash ;)

No, XP is fine. I can move everything.

I noticed that I can also not move or "stretch" a window. You what I men? Like when you are in 2d mode and want to grab the top of the VC panel and drag it down to "shrink" it.
Any clues?

Dave. Does this happen with all panels? Maybe it's something in the Panel.cfg of the one you're using.

It's probably something very simple but I don't remember seeing this one before.

Thanks for answering Doug.
I seem to remember it happening on another aircraft yesterday.
I will confirm that it is all but am pretty sure.

Is it possible that I adjusted something in the FSUICP as I was in there the other day.

That is indeed possible. Sorry but I have no knowledge of FSUIPC.

FSUIPC is most likely the cause Dave...There is an option that allows the locking (might be docking) of windows...see that you haven't clicked on that... ???

The culprit is FSUICP!

Uncheck = Stop cockpit sizing!
