Uh... ???

Sorry, but I don't think I've understood you perfectly. You want to know how to craft personalized AI traffic, to make said traffic follow your routes and land at your airports?

If it's this you meant, know that it's a not so intuitive process, and you'll have to learn on a trial by fire, on your PC, on your sim, experimenting.

For making a new traffic in FS9, you better begin from the start. Download Ttools, here: http://www.simviation.com/fs2004utilities1.htm and read its help instructions. The workings of AI traffic is detailed quite clearly there.

If you're serious in wanting to add some traffic of your own, always on the same page download AFCAD 2.21 too. It might be necessary for you to modify the parking slots of an airport, and should this need arise, AFCAD is everything you'll need (shame in fact that, how things are, it's difficult that we'll ever see a newer version) :().

About the quickest and easiest way to get AI traffic is to use the PAI traffic just go to www.projectai.com
you just pick what you want down load the installer put all of the files you download into the same folder that the installer is in and run the install program and that is it.
Make sure you down load all of the files you want before running the install program it makes it easier that way. 8)

Things one knows how to do are EASY and things one does not know how to do are DIFFICULT   :D

If one Searches SimV in the AI Traffic section using the past year (333 days) criteria, copious amounts of messages explaining FS-AI_traffic will appear.

One of these messages, shows an illustration I posted which makes clear the three files used by TTools to Compile AI_traffic files (traffic_MINE.bgl)

Hope this helps. Ask as many questions as necessary to get your mojo workin' . . . that's what I do.

No argument there, old chap. ;D

Still, when you try to add a considerable amount of traffic (like, for example, I've done to reactivate Kai Tak), even being quite into the matter, the inherent complexity of the management of the AI traffic is quite troubling. :)

I've already recompiled a dozen time the traffic of Kai Tak, and still am not satisfied for several reasons. Sure adding one or two planes in and out of a pair of normally deserted airports like the military bases here in Italy (simulated) it's quite easy, just another thing is if you get serious about it and want a life-like scheduled traffic out of even only one airport (I speak for experience). ;)
